ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Even though online reviews were good, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I LOVED this little inn and would DEFINITELY recommend and stay again. It was conveniently located, staff was helpful and friendly, grounds were well maintained, room was clean and well apportioned. My only “complaint” was that I could hear my neighbors which was a little awkward, but not a huge deal.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

The room was clean and large, the amenities were exactly what I expected at the price point and everything in the room was functional. Over the phone and at check out the staff was pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately we had a rough road getting into our room. We called the hotel to let them know we would be arriving late (around midnight) and they told us they would place the key and the room info in a mailbox for us to retrieve upon arrival. When we arrived around 12:30am there was an envelope in the mailbox with a room key, however there was no room number. We called the overnight manger two times with no answer (it was the middle of the night…) so to get into our room we had to use the key card to check random rooms until a door opened, we ended up trying 5-6 rooms until we found ours. The staff the next morning was apologetic.

POSITIVE:

Clean. Nice list of sights and restaurants with phone numbers. The gardens are lovely. Hotel provides nice wine glasses, some plates and flatware.

NEGATIVE:

The only chairs were armless straight chairs. No good for sitting up to watch TV. No safety grab bar in the tub was terrifying. Two stairs up from the parking spot with no hand rail. No idea where they serve breakfast. No coffee in the room, only tea. Huge full size refrigerator and a 4 burner stove. If theses items were smaller there would be room for a closet where the broom, dust pan and ironing board could be stored instead of sitting in full view in the room. My husband located a sausage egg and cheese on a muffin. It was frozen solid and there were no directions for a way to heat. Should it be heated still wrapped in the paper or should it be unwrapped? How long should it remain in the microwave. One minute and it was still cold. 90 seconds …. still cold. Another minute with the pieces separated…finally warm enough to eat, except the muffin is too tough to bite. No staff ever came to our room so our condiments were not replaced. No recycling of plastics.
