Our checking in was a little bit rude. The girl didn’t bother to ask how was our trip..just said that our credit card was denied. I immediately explained why this happened. She continued to explain breakfast and check out procedures in a hurry. She closed the little door where she was speaking from and that was it. It seemed that she was in a hurry but the office was open till 900pm and it was only 7pm.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Improve the check in process.. take it slower,, acknowledge the customer!I know we are dealing with covid but the clients are the ones waiting outside in the cold. Also is something that was order for breakfast is not available please let the customer know.

Easy to book, very clean and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable! Convenient for travel all over Cape and to Ferry. Walking distance to town and dinning. Room rates are reasonable and there are several choices in accommodations.

The convenience of check in check out process, the location of hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms are what we appreciate and will without a doubt make this our number 1 go to at the Cape.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

I do prefer the room I had initially with the kitchenette. I would have liked more space for kitchen like appliances atleast. The set up in the present room everything was packed onto the refrigerator. Also at least one appolstered seating would have been nice for added comfort.

We wanted to find a safe place to go for a little weekend Covid getaway. This inn turned out perfect. Contactless check-in worked fine - we were handed our envelope through a window as did the contactless breakfast where we called in our order and picked it up outside the office. The bathroom was modern and very clean and the room was large, bright and clean. The Inn consists of scattered small buildings in the trees. We enjoyed the town of Sandwich, it seemed much less congested than the rest of the Cape (but this is January).

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Love this place! I found food in fridge and was unsure if kitchen had been cleaned. The bathroom was clean but my basement patio was filled w leaves which was not a big deal. I love opening the windows and seeing trees all around and the bed was comfortable. I would put a club chair and ottoman somewhere to sit. I had a good time cooking in the kitchen and drinking wine watching the inauguration for my birthday. Thank you, thank you.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

The key cards are a little annoying but oh well. I stayed in 32 and no patio furniture. Kind of a bummer even though it was mostly cold and wet. It floods down there. Not inside but the patio. Having standard stock neatly organized in the kitchen. I had no colander for instance. But all in all it was spectacular. I loved it. So convenient and tucked away. I would put carrots on the rock for the squirrels.

Well, the refrigerator had crumbs on the shelf inside.

The black wire basket had some dried dripping sauce on the edge. I moved it forward so it wouldn’t be missed to clean this time.

The two coffee mugs needed to be cleaned with the facecloth to remove the stains all on the inside enough to make the white facecloth turn very brown.

Every time I called the front desk, like check in, to ask her about the blinking light on the phone, and how breakfast was being handled, and checkout. The calls were handled so briskly on the phone. The girl was very curt and answered the question quickly and said “okay” And hung up.

Or in the case of the bright red blinking telephone light said “it’s nothing. You can just leave it”. It was very distracting at night so I listened to the remaining voicemails that were NEVER cleared out on the queue and deleted the voicemails and guess what? The bright red light shut off. So, there Was something that could be done!

The service I received in May was much better than this time. The room this time was GREAT in size and picnic table ability.

When I was checking out as per your instruction sheet, I called and said “ hi this is room 27, and we’re checking out now. “ the same girl said “okay”. And hung up. She was pretty rude for the two days there. I didn’t put this or any remarks on Expedia bc I didn’t want to leave it for public comment, but, probably we won’t be returning this spring, summer and fall.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

There were no baking pans in the unit which seemed like an oversight since the unit has a full oven. (There was only the broiler pan, but nothing to reheat meals.)

Some dust behind the dresser—obvious when we had to access the plug.

We had brought our own food. We did appreciate the good quality instant coffee!

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

The info mentioned another blanket but we couldn’t find one. We were a bit chilly. We didn’t notice until already in bed but I suspect we could have called for one to be dropped off. Perhaps make it clear up front for winter guests how to get warmer bedding??
