ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Very friendly staff. The room is comfortable with a nice New England decor. Check-in and Check-out couldn’t have been easier. We appreciated the breakfast bags and look forward to the return of your lovely buffet. Every stay has been enjoyable and when I’m traveling in the area I’ll book here.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

The room could use a better coffee service or one available on grounds.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

The room was very sterile and unwelcoming. Plastic-ey wood floors, no where to set anything in the bathroom. Felt cold and uninviting. There were men’s whisker shavings in the bathroom thing that held motel shampoo and foot rug in bathroom was dirty. In any other city it would be a $100 a night room.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Warm up the inside aesthetically and give it some character. The exterior is cute the inside has zero personality and looks cheaply thrown together with tv cables running down the walls and horrible blueish CFL lights in lamps. Change those out to bulbs with a warm Kelvin temp. Pay closer attention to detail when cleaning - especially given Covid.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay. Room 15 was beautifully appointed and clean upon arrival.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Because of Covid-19 and the fact that staff does not clean your room until you leave, maybe put a cute covered box next to each room for the guests to deposit used towels and receive new clean ones. This would help the staff retrieve the wet towels each day. You could use large plastic bags to line the box for ease of pick up and/or delivery of new items requested by guests. Just food for thought. :)

POSITIVE:

The room was clean and seemed to be updated in terms of the flooring and bathroom. The property was cute , quaint and quiet and in a good location.

NEGATIVE:

There wasn’t a closet in the room which seemed unusual. My stay was during the Covid pandemic, so it’s hard to rate the staff or ammenities as there was very little interaction with the staff and there was no maid service. The free breakfast was a plus, but the coffee cups were the smallest cups I’ve ever seen.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

My wife and I absolutely loved the room. It was updated and very comfortable. The room and bathroom were spacious and had everything we needed. The grounds were also nice and it was quiet.

We cannot really comment on the food. We think, under the circumstances with COVID, there was a limit to what could be done.

Our biggest negative was the staff. When we arrived we found crumbs and fingerprints on the table in our room. We also found black marks on the floor of the bathtub and on the wall near the light switch. My wife contacted the front desk about what was found and the reply was “the housekeeping log says the room was cleaned”. The person offered nothing more. That was a bit shocking considering the COVID pandemic. My wife and I went out and bought Comet and cleaned it ourselves. While cleaning the tub some black mold was removed from under the ledge of the panel where the soap dish was. We then proceeded to wipe down everything in the room with disinfectant wipes. On another occasion we where told to leave our dirty towels outside the door on the floor and not the chair, however, the clean replacement towels were left loose on the outside chair. They were supposed to be left in a bag but they weren’t.

We found all this really unfortunate because we really like the place, however, because of this we would have to think twice about returning. The only suggestion we can make is that ownership, or someone in charge, should check the rooms after they are cleaned to make sure everything was done well, especially during these times where eliminating risk for the COVID virus is so important. It also may be a good idea to review things with the cleaning staff regarding thoroughness and the front desk staff regarding customer service.

We hope these things can be rectified as we really would like to return in the future.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Pros: Cute / quaint / private place to stay. AC worked great. Beds were comfortable.

Cons: While the place was mostly clean, I found a hair in the shower and finger prints on the bedside table. Thankfully I brought Clorox wipes with me to wipe surfaces down. I think a deeper clean would go a long way because these suites are really cute.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

As mentioned in previous post

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

We have been visiting your Inn for about 2 years now. We have always been pleased with the level of service and cleanliness of the rooms. As travelers who put health, safety and cleanliness at the very highest level of priority and your staff have done the very best given this crazy time in our society. We wish you the best and hope to be back as soon as our schedule permits.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Overall, this is a very cute hotel with lovely grounds and we really enjoyed the decks. We stayed in rooms 28 and 30. Room 30, however, had a very musty smell. I requested a room change but there were no other rooms available. Staff provided a dehumidifier, but the smell of must/mold was overpowering at times. The bathrooms in both rooms had hairs on the floor and sink. Room 30 also did not have a spare roll of tp and we ran out. I was disappointed overall with bathroom cleanliness and the moldy smell.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

I do not think I would stay there again.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

The staff was very apologetic but 3 out of 4 days most of our desired breakfast items were not available. I also have two suggestions, both related to coffee LOL! First, consider offering flavored creamer with the coffee (hazelnut and vanilla are fairly standard) it would have been a nice touch. Second, an in room coffee maker would have been nice. Instant coffee is… not tasty. Had I known there would only be instant coffee, I would have brought my French press. Otherwise it was a lovely stay! The Inn is absolutely adorable!

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

The coffee suggestions from the previous page. Also potentially add outdoor chairs to room 31 (our room). The mornings and evenings are so lovely, I wish we could have enjoyed them in a more comfortable spot than the picnic tables.

Had 2 reservations: one for one night and the second for 3 nights. Was in Hyannis next day, 35 min away from Sandwich and enjoyed a nice weather on a beach. At noon time received

a call from hotel and they informed me that I have to leave my room by 11 am. I told Representative that I informed front desk about my reservations at check in. After a few calls and rude conversation with manager, iI was told that if I not move my stuff to another room, they will do it????I called Expedia and request to cancel my 3 nights reservation. Luckily I leave 2 hours away, but my vacation was ruined. I travel a lot and never had experience like this…….
