I had 2 reservations- one for 08/05-08/06 and second from 08/06-08/09. I informed about it representative at my check in. Next morning I went on the beach In Hyannis. Around a noon time I received a call from hotel and was asked why I didn’t leave hotel, b/c check out time at 11 am. I told that I have another reservation, but rep told me that she has to look for it. After she found my reservation she stated that I have to change my room. I didn’t want to change my room, b/ c it’s inconvenient and I wasn’t informed about that. I was told that manager will call me back. When manager Kristine ( not sure about spelling) called me back, she was very rude and told If I not move my stuff will be taken out of my room, really???? I called Expedia to cancel my reservation and I received the conformation of cancellation

I travel a lot and I never had experience such that. My vacation was ruined completely

We enjoyed our stay here and appreciate the efforts to keep people safe during the pandemic. However the breakfast could have been better as options in that area were limited. Some of my group were given fruits that were not edible. I think more effort can be put into providing a hot meal while maintaining the social distance. The table outside our room was a nice touch. The rooms were not very clean when we arrived. One of the rooms had good air conditioning and the other one did not work so well. Minor issues -overall we enjoyed the location, the grounds and our stay very much and we will return sometime.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Everything was great…beds were comfy, loved the comfortable chairs at the table, the setting was quiet,

liked that there were separate buildings …the room was clean except for the floors. They were gritty, perhaps from beach sand. You could tell while walking barefoot that they hadn’t been washed which was surprising due to all the cleaning requirements associated with COVID.

Loved that we could park and enter.

Just a mention about breakfast..

We ordered potato medley and Canadian bacon for one and yoghurt for myself. No potatoes in togo bag, just 2 very sad pieces of cold bacon in a plastic bag.. apparently there were no potatoes left but nobody bothered to let us know.. Yoghurt was warm too.

Just a disappointing end to a great few days.. (not the type to complain but think it’s important to make you aware).

Honestly will absolutely be staying here again, i loved the home type feel of the place, and the porch was a great bonus! I loved the room we were in.

The only thing I will say was there was quite a bit of dust/webs in the corners of the room and the porch outback had quite a few spiders and webs/insects. The room seemed slightly “damp” but I can always expect that around the ocean.

Such a cute set up, location was perfect, check in and out was super simple. We had a lot of fun and will be back!

I was a little disappointed with my stay this time. I have stayed at the kittery location and fell in love and was hoping to have the same experience. I’m sure that with the pandemic, it’s been a different challenge which is why I would still come back again but I found the room to be extremely musty smelling. Under the sink smelt like mold and the pastry’s that were part of the continental breakfast had mold on it. I know that these are strange circumstances we are living, I just expected more cleanliness.

POSITIVE:

Our room was outstanding, roomy, very clean and the AC worked GREAT! Especially excellent was the breakfast, a bagged selection of fruit, cereal, delicious potato medley, good coffee, great lemon/poppyseed cake, Canadian bacon and OJ. Made us feel very safe during pandemic with no close contact with anyone. Weird in that sense, but very apropos of these strange times. TV got many channels, including HBO so we could watch Real Time w Bill Maher. Thank you, Sandwich Inn&Suites!
