ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:
The woman who checked us in refused cash. Its not legal in the state of Massachusetts for a business to refuse cash payment. Its discriminatory. We were trying to pay cash since my card got declined and my bank account had been frozen from fraud. I was under the impression that I had paid online at the time of booking. So to encounter such a surprise (not the good kind) and inconvenience at the same time while being from out of town and driving all day, is awful. So what would have happened if he didnt have a card? Be sent away with no place to stay? All because a business wants to break a law and refuse cash?! Also at check in, we had to stand outside in the cold rain to conduct our check-in, while trying to figure out all of this confusion, because she didnt want to let us inside. We conducted business from a window. It was unprofessional. Also, theres black mold on the a/c unit, the filter was dirty and the room is moldy and musty, The bathroom smelled like a public restroom as old as the 80s. Like someone peed all over the ENTIRE bathroom and just left it there. It was absolutely disgusting. The floor had a piece missing, which my boyfriend stubbed his toe in. Installing a dehumidifier in the room would be a wonderful no brainer, after the mold is removed from under the flooring and everywhere else its residing. Was the room visually esthetic? Sure, but esthetics dont trump mold, or urine soaked bathrooms.
OTHER SUGGESTIONS:
Tear the flooring up, remedy the mold, install dehumidifiers, dont use a floating floor with cracks in a bathroom (theyre not meant for bathrooms to begin with), dont break laws because youre a fear monger and dont make people stand outside in the cold or the rain!
